For any child re-capping the initial sounds SATPIN. It’s a cut and stick activity, there are 4 worksheets, so they can review their learning 4 times.
I use this with my Nursery class and find it very helpful so assessing which children remember the sounds we learned.
You will need to download the ‘Sassoon Infant Std’ font, it is free.

Summer 2 Reception Phase 4 Phonics
There’s one whiteboard for each day of the 5 weeks Little Wandle planning which includes the things you need for each day so we don’t need all of those flashcards. I’ve also planned 10 extra lessons which each have a whiteboard re-capping the learning, this will see you through until the end of the summer.
The only thing I’ve added are the summer 1 tricky words as there’s no new ones introduced this half term and an extra ‘tricky’ sentence as well as the one they’ve suggested.
I’ve made them in Smart Notebook as that’s my favourite but they are compatible with the activ inspire whiteboards as well.
You will need to download the free ‘boring boring’ font.
I have also made homework sheets to go with the IWB’s. :)
These whiteboards and homework sheets go together and there is an order of sounds and tricky words, I have put in words to go with each sound.
Whiteboards - a whiteboard for each day for 6 weeks, including space to model writing, words to read and a sentence for each day. Week 6 is a review of what has been learnt so far.
Homework - linked to what you have been teaching each week, 8 pieces of homework.
Lesson Sheets - These are chunky lined pages with the date on and the sound in dotted lines to help the children practise writing it. You will need to change the date on these to suit your class.
I used the boring boring font, so you will need to download that, it is a free font.
I used smart notebook but this is compatible with Activ Inspire as well you just import the file.
I hope they help! :)
There’s one sheet for each of the 5 weeks and then 1 extra week of re-cap for week 6. I have also included a re-cap of the Summer 1 tricky words as there are no new tricky words to be taught in Summer 2.
You will need the boring boring and national primary dotted free fonts.
